Polyvore!!

I decided since I'm trying to get my blog up on Polvore's blog, I would make another post about Polyvore and my Polyvore sets!!! I'm just guna post some cute sets that got a buncha faves! Let me know what ya think!!

This set included some pics of me and Chloe when we went
on our adventure through the alleyways!! This is probably one
of my favorite mosaic sets!! I'm not really a mosaic set kinda gal
but lately, I've been making a lot!! I'm getting inspiration from all of
the girls throughout Polyvore!! I love that little unitard sorta thang there
but I needed to add a skirt!! Don't wana be too scandalous!! Hahaha!! Those
sunglasses are by Sonia Rykiel and I would DIE for a pair of them!! Pearls surround
the border of the glasses which have a tinted glass!! LOVE THEM!!!!

This set is pretty simple, but somehow, it got many faves!! I'm not ever sure
which sets of mine will get tons of faves, or none. When I get none...I'm
pretty sad!! Haha!! I adore those cut-out heels there, and only $99!!
That bag is eco-friendly also!! How great!! 3.1 Phillip Lim is
responsible for that stunning ruffle jack!!

For some reason, this 5 item set got 34 faves!! Woohoo!!!
I just love this casualand chic look. The sequin top, some boyfriend
jeans, some hot sneaks, and a girly crystal cuff!! That bad is Jerome Dreyfuss
and you can buy it here, that is if you want to pay $846!!

This set name "All Right Now," was totally random but when I found
those Nina Ricci heels, I knew just what I would do with them. And here we have it!!
The vest is 3.1 Phillip Lim, top is Vanessa Bruno, skirt is Bottega Veneta, bag is Alexander McQueen, shoes Nina Ricci, and earrings are Charriol. Love this look and I wish
I had the guts to wear it!!!

I love the pics I chose and that dress!! It's totally sexy but definitely fashionable!! The
jacket it WAY overpriced, but it's totally perfect for the look I was going for.
When I make mosaic sets, I always have trouble finding things to fit into
the nooks and cranny's of the set!! Hahah!! But, I think I'm starting
to get a handle on it!!

Sonia kept her old taste with striped knits, but with a new punch!! Studded bags, hats and feathers galore!! Her collection dazzled with a new feel to it. The night started out with a dinner, then the fashion show, which then resulted in a late night of partying!! Tons of designers were there to celebrate the big day!!

Sonia Rykiel's Silk chiffon tank added a new edge to her sweet kind-of look!! This tank has diamanté appliqué embellished stripes that add a spark to any look! Pair this top with some leggings, skinny jeans, or, a skirt!! Tap into Spring's transparency trend with Sonia Rykiel's nude chiffon diamanté-embellished tank. Pair it with wide-legged pants and heels to go from day to night with ease. Works like a charm!!

From the collection, this Feather covered gilet is perfect for any time of the year, except summer!! Sweating is not chic ladies, haha!! When you look at shoes, what do you think?? Depending on what type of shoe, you may think something different for each pair. Heels. They say SEXY, DARING, and DANGEROUS. And believe me, some of them really ARE dangerous!! Hahaha!! The other day, I found the most spectacular pairs of heels and I don't really understand why I don't have them...but then I realized, we are in a recession. Dammit, I really need this recession to end so I can get back in my fashion groove. I think I may have lost my mojo!! Anywho, take a look at these babies.

These Yves Saint Laurent Cage boots have a new take on fashion. Yes, the encage your feet,

but look stunning while their at it!! You may think, how in the world do I get these onto my feet?? Don't worry,

they have a zipper in the back!! With their patent shine and 4 1/2 inch heel, these are some show-stopping booties at the least!!

These Rick Owens cut-out booties are just fabulous!! And how edgy are they?? If you want to go to the extreme, these booties are yours. If only we all could learn to love the price of these!! This pair is great for Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall! No matter what season, Rick Owens cut-out booties are a must have for those with a daring mind, and fat wallet!!

Gareth Pugh's Two-tone shoe boots are just...WOW!! Hahaha!! Are't they just stunning?? I mean, how could anybody not be totally obsessed with these. They are just amazing and I would do ANYTHING to have a pair or booties like these!! I used them in a Polyvore set, so check it out!!

Running Through the Alley's.

Whenever I seem to have a day off from 

school, I want to go on an adventure. 

My best friend Chloe and I always 

find the most sketchy/chic places 

around NYC. I don't know how we 

do it, but today we just decided to walk around and we found these hot alley ways that inspired us to take some shots!! I'm always up for a little photo shoot!! 

Now this first shot isn't in an alley way, but if I do say so myself, it still looks pretty chic!!

nts are pretty tough to put into an outfit, but I thought I got the look!! My skippies from Urban Outfitters are something I cannot live without. I got them a couple weeks ago, and I think I have worn them at least twice a week, I'm so obsessed with them, and I might need to go get another pair sooner or later!!

This mosaic set is a rare type that I make!! I'm more of a classic set kinda gal!! One member on polyvore who totally inspires me to make mosaic sets is unobambino!! She makes the most fantastic sets so check her profile out!! I love French Sole flats because they are totally classic!!

This sparkly number just inspires me!! Living in NYC gives me so many ideas for sets and for my blog!! I probably would never have the guts to wear this outfit, but that is how Polyvore fits into my life!! I always seem to make my dream sets with truly expensive items!! Wouldn't it be nice if we could get all the items from Polyvore.com??

This set is a fairly new one!! The jacket is Chanel which I believe is to die for!! It has a Sargent Pepper kind of feeling to it, no?!? Anyways, I adore it. And those boots!! Ahh!! I just love that type of boot with any look. They can go with dresses, jeans (as in my set), tunics, peasant dresses, and many more options!! I've been a little obsessed with the "boyfriend" jean style lately!! Something about the look just catches my eye!! I had some straight legged jeans in my drawer and turned them into a pair of boyfriend jeans!! This look just screams prarie chic!!

Anna Sui's Spring 2009 Ready-to-wear collection consists of dresses, peasant tops, and rompers all put together for a fresh new look!! The tribal and embroidery look was rocking the runway! A perfect look for spring!! The shoes from her collection are absolutely to die for!! If this look isn't your style, you better make it ladies!! Anna Sui did a fabulous job this Spring!!

and they always have a good deal there!!

My Jewelry.

Take a look at my dresser piled with jewelry on it. I know, it's a total mess, and I'm not the tidiest person in the world, but I'm a teenager so give me a break!! Maybe you guys will learn from me to keep your room clean!!

By the way, keep in mind that the gross color of my room is being changed ASAP. I'm getting a Paris themed room!! I'm actually sooo excited. I have all the stuff but I need my room painted!! It's going to be painted with white and cream stripes!! Just like I imagine a Paris room!! So I have about 20 pairs of earrings, some real, some just costume jewelry!! Like that HUGE pearl necklace in the middle!! Hahaha!! I have bangles for Spring, which I CANNOT wait for!! I have big vintage earrings that I'm in love with and got for $2!! That is a price you can't beat ladies!! I have this sterling silver Coach bangle and I got it about two Christmas' ago, and I still am in love with it!! When I'm buying jewelry, I really want to focus on unique items that nobody else will have!! Pippin Vintage Jewelry has the most fantasic finds in the store!! It located on West 17th, and has great prices for those recessionista fashionista's!! They have price ranges from $5 to hundreds!! They have designer names for much less and also have hats, bags, pins and jewelry of course!! Check it out, and I promise you will have no regrets!!

Agreeable.

Okay girls, one thing before you read this. I understand some people have different opinions about different things, but I think we all might be able to agree that smoking is totally gross. I'm not naming names but, I have this girl in my grade who is 14 years old, and she was smoking at a party. Personally, I am totally against smoking. It's horrible for your body, and your body is a temple, so respect it ladies!! Even if you don't inhale, you are still doing damage to your body! I know there are fashion figures that smoke, but it is NOT cool. Don't be a poser, stay true to yourself. Just because the fashion business has people smoking to stay skinny, or look "hip" does not mean it is. If you are smoking, I strongly suggest that you stop, because it is NOT cool, is NOT healthy, and people should be thankful they have healthy lungs because some people would die to have a pair of healthy lungs, so don't take life for granted!! Just a little opinionated argument from me...Let me know your opinions, I would love to hear what people think about smoking!!

Within the past week, I feel I have made a
bunch of progress!! Since I had so much great
feedback on my shoe story, I thought I'd give you
girlies a little tour of my shoe closet!!

These loafers over here are BRAND SPANKIN NEW!! Haha!! I got them at Urban Outfitters for $29, but have not had the chance to wear them yet! I must admit, I am struggling with them, I have no idea what to wear them with!! Any suggestions??

These next shoes I bought last Spring time from Keds!! They don't look like Keds what-so-ever and they are perfect for Spring and Summer! It's hard for me to find Keds that I'm in love with, besides the classic white
ones, but when my mom found these, I had to have them!! They're an orange-red kinda color, wedged, and buckled over!! Here they are!!

I just realized looking at these pictures, that my feet look HUGE! Hahaha!! They really aren't though, I'm a size 6 1/2 or 7, depending on heels or flats. I'm no big foot here!!

This next pair of stunners are practically my babies!! Oh how I love my oxfords. I don't know how I'd live with 'em or without 'em!! They are Franco Sarto, its this really classic shoe company. These are a little love worn, because of how beautiful they are!! I got these for $50 at Loehmans and I almost didn't buy them!! I know, I'm crazy. So, there ya go!! A little closet raid from moi!! Sorry I haven't been posting too much lately, but hey!! High school is hard girls, I would know, haha!! And for some good news, I got an A- in History for the quarter!! Yayy!!

Did you guys ever notice how good you feel about yourself when you get a good grade?? It's too bad it's a rainy day though, I hate the rain!! I started smiling on the street because I felt so good about myself, and a couple people started to stare at me...But I'm probably used to it by now because of the red hair!! Anyways, I'll post something new soon!! <3

Booties!!

Okay girls, I just bought the most amazing pair of booties by Michael Kors.But there is a story to them...First, just look at them!!Aren't they stunning?? They're camel suede,
4 inches high, and platform!! Let me know what you're thinking about them!!

So I bought these a while ago, but I thought I would still share them with you since I haven't worn them yet!! I had a snow day a bit back in February, I think...Haha!! And I decided to brave the storm and go shopping!! I know, I'm crazy, but I couldn't help myself!! And I went to Loehman's
on like 74th street, and did NOT expect to find anything. They had this amazing sale going on, and I thought everything would be gross, but I went downstairs to the shoe department, where I always have good luck!! ; )
I looked in the 6, 6 1/2, and 7 isles hoping to find something!!
And I ended up finding these amazing Michael Kors booties.
I looked at the price and they were $100. But then there was a sale tag covering that up, and they were $84 on the sale price. But like I said, there was a huge sale at Loehman's!! And I ended up getting them for $40!! Originally, they were $400!! Can you believe the steal I got?? And how stunning are they?? They're my babies...Hahaha!! Imagine if I didn't have the snow day!! Or didn't go out!! I don't like to think about it...
